The agreement, written like you're a person. If you use FACTS, this is what we promise each other.
- Use FACTS for what it's for — reading and thinking. Not unlawful things.
- If you subscribe to FACTS Pro, you're paying Apple at the price shown. Cancel anytime in Apple ID.
- FACTS isn't therapy, medical advice, or a crisis service. If you're in crisis, please reach a real human.
Who we are
FACTS is made by DATARIUM SARL, a company registered in Côte d'Ivoire. You can reach us at hello@clarityfacts.app.
Your account
FACTS doesn't require an account. The app runs on your device. If you subscribe to FACTS Pro, your subscription is tied to your Apple ID — not a FACTS account.
Subscription & billing
- FACTS Pro is offered as Annual (with a 3-day free trial) or Weekly.
- Payment is processed by Apple at the price displayed at purchase.
- The subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- We do not process refunds. Refund requests go through Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restore purchases on a new device: Settings → Restore Purchases.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Try to break, decompile, or scrape FACTS
- Use the app to harm others or distribute illegal content
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand its contents
- Pretend to be us, or to be affiliated with us
Content & intellectual property
The daily facts, illustrations, mascot, brand, and app code are the intellectual property of DATARIUM SARL or our licensors. You get a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use FACTS on devices you own. Anything you save inside the app stays yours and stays on your device.
What FACTS isn't
FACTS is for reading and reflection. It is not therapy, psychological advice, medical advice, or a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis or unsafe, please contact a local crisis line or qualified professional. We list resources in Settings → Help.
Disclaimers & liability
FACTS is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
- Where applicable, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim — or the equivalent of one annual subscription, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits. Where that's the case, the protections of your local consumer law apply.
Termination
You can stop using FACTS at any time — delete the app, cancel the subscription, done. We can suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, though for the free tier we'll typically just block subscriptions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app and the "Last updated" date moves. Continuing to use FACTS after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Côte d'Ivoire, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Where you are a consumer and the law of your country of residence gives you stronger protections, those mandatory protections continue to apply.
